You can discover Chinon all
of the year with our guided tour. Each monument is described.
This booklet is available in 5 languages to the Tourist Office.

For reasons of safety, the churches are closed.
Saint-Etienne and Saint-Maurice are however open the afternoon in
July-August (except Sundays and public holidays). The
churches are systematically open when there are guided tours (excepted
when religious ceremony is running).
You will
find panels all over the old town to obtain some explanations
on the monuments and others tourist sites.

The
guide adapts to you. He knows all the facets of Chinon and gives
you keys of understand the scale of a place, the urban development
to the wire of its districts. The guide is with your listening.
Do not hesitate to ask him questions.
The
animation service
who coordinates the initiatives of Chinon,
"Ville d'art et d'histoire", conceives a program of
visits. It proposes all the year a lot of animations for Chinonais
and the school ones. It is at your disposal for any project.
If you are in group
You can visit the city all of the year on reservation. Some
booklets ared designed to your attention and sent to you to your
request.
