covers 235 000 hectares which extend over the departments of Maine and
the Loire (region of the Loire) and of the Indre and the Loire (Region
Centre). In this mosaic of landscapes, the first mission of the Park
is to protect a patrimony of an exceptional wealth. But it is a question
especially of valuing this patrimony and of favoring a harmonious economic
and social development of its territory. The Park invites you in his
discovery. For that purpose, he proposes you varied activities: - Nature
and Patrimony exhibitions, please ask for the pad ! - The paths of interpretation
- " The changing rooms of the vineyard ", original spectacle in the

of the Loire and the Vienne, in a preserved world heritage site, well
off the beaten track in the peaceful surrounds of the Véron river peninsula.
Here, man and nature have always lived in harmony with the ebb and flow
of the water. It is a land of legend and myth where modernity has learned
to respect age-old traditions. This is a new kind of museum that will
delight the whole family with its permanent exhibition, living farm
and countryside walks. The ecomuseum collection is the result of many
years of patient work by Pierre Acier in the Véron area. This is not
the place for old master paintings or precious objects, just modest
utensils that reflect life of the inhabitants of Véron. Nevertheless,
the collection is rich with information about local lifestyles and farming
practices. It is, after all, the duty of museums to reflect the past
